Food & Machinery is an open access journal: all articles are published permanently free on the official website allowing users to read, download, copy, print, search, obtain a link to the full text of the article, or use them for other lawful purpuses under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 Internatioanl (CC-BY-NC-ND) License.

Peer Review

Food & Machinery operates a double-blind peer review process under responsibility of Editorial Board of F & M. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.

User Rights

All users should  follow the CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 License as a prerequisite when using articles in this journal. The License allows users to copy and distribute articles under the term of 1. This is not done for commercial purposes or distribution of  articles if edited. 2. The user has appropriate credit(with a link to the formal publication through the revevant DOI) and can provide a link to the license but not in any way implying that the licensor is endorsing the user or the use of the work. 3. No derivvatives including remix, transform, or build upon the material was allowed for distribution. The authors have the right to store their articles in the institutional repository.

Author Rights

For open access publishing, this journal uses a Copyright Transfer Agreement. Authors will transfer copyright to Food & Machinery, but will have the right to share their article in the same ways permitted to third parties under the relevant user license (e.g. stored in institutional repository), as well as certain scholarly usage rights.

Article Processing Charge

To provide open access, Food & Machinery has an open access fee (also known as an article publishing charge, APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or by their research funder or institution. The accepted manuscripts should pay 2750 yuan for 8 printed page (including express charge  printed journal), an additional 200 yuan will be charged if your paper is more than 8 pages.
