    Abstract:

Using electronic nose measure and evaluation model as a guidance method for inhibiting halitosis, the strongest bioactive fractions(EⅡM20) were separated from the 95% ethanol emblica extract by organic solvent extraction, repeated normal and reverse phase column chromatography. Consequently, three compounds were isolated from the EⅡM20 by semi-preparative HPLC. Their quantity-quality were 6.8 mg, 4.5 mg, 4.9 mg, repectively. The structures of the three compounds were elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic methods such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HR-ESI-MS. The spectroscopy analysis indicated that the compounds were maltose, Bis(2-methylheptyl)phthalate and 1-(4’-amino-phenyl)-ethane-1,2-diol.
