Firstly the research background and the current status of online food safety research were introduced, and then the current status and problems of online food supervision were analyzed in this review. Finally, some supervision strategies were proposed in four ways, i.e., the construction of a smart collaborative supervision platform, the reform of supervision organization and power reshaping, the breaking information asymmetry and the strengthening of consumer rights protection.
